Ché Alexander, a vibrant and innovative force from Atlanta is proudly known as a "Georgia Peach" and "Grady Baby." With standout leadership honed at North Fulton High School and Georgia State University, she has dedicated 20 years of her life to public service, notably with MARTA, the Georgia Secretary of State's office, and Fulton County Government.

Ascending swiftly from Chief Deputy Clerk to The Chief of Courts Bureau, Ché is renowned for transforming the judicial support system by unifying the courts' case management platform, implementing e-filing (creating a paperless court), and spearheading countless other improvement projects. She also served as a catalyst for effective collaboration among justice system partners. A trailblazer, she is one of the founding members of the National Association for Court Professionals and served on boards like Sisters Against Domestic Violence and Dress for Success Atlanta.

In 2018, Ché established CHEckrein Consulting, focusing on justice system improvements. She was instrumental in reducing the Fulton County Jail overcrowding by 500 inmates; however, it was her leadership role in “Project ORCA” that helped Fulton County win the 2023 “County of Excellence” Award for reducing the judicial case backlog by 63% - post COVID.

These experiences, along with many others, prepared her to be sworn in as Clerk of the Superior & Magistrate Courts in July 2023, serving as the official guardian of a of all court, real estate, and other ancillary records in Georgia’s largest County. She leads a staff of over 200 employees and manages a twenty-two-million-dollar budget.

As a youth, Ché experienced childhood trauma and later became a survivor of intimate partner violence. However, despite personal tragedies, Ché's resilience shines through. A mentor and motivational speaker, she shares her journey with people of all ages with hope that her story will resonate, inspire, and effect change. Driven by faith and a motto centered on “People. Purpose. Passion,” Ché’s mission is to increase her office’s community engagement footprint while becoming the “Clerk’s Office of the Future.”

Ché Alexander's accomplishments with Fulton County and the justice system at large is a testament to her dynamic leadership and unwavering dedication to a better future for all. Alexander is a proud member of Hunter Hill First Missionary Baptist Church.
